Welcome
You’ve reached my corner of the internet.
This website is a landing page for my personal domain, a tasteful and professional digital business card, a semi-curated bundle of thoughts, and a scrap heap of mostly-finished projects. It’s also a love letter to the halcyon age when the internet was for talking to other people and running a website was worth doing just because it’s nifty.
Why don’t you stay awhile and poke around?
About me
I’m Joe. I live in a village in Nordsjælland with my wife, son, and dog. Before 2016, I lived in New Mexico.
I like computers, and earn a living making them do things. I’ve been programming since middle school, and since then, most of what I do is related to creating software. I’m especially interested in web technologies, domain-driven design, type-driven development, command-line interfaces, and Neovim.
To balance out the time spent with machines, I spend as much time as I can outside, especially in Gribskov or Lake Esrum.
I play chess, tabletop roleplaying games, and the banjo.
Professional details
Since 2023, I’ve worked as a software engineer at Veo, where I build software that helps youth football teams get the most out of their games.
Before that, I’ve worked with early-stage Danish startups to bring early ideas to market.
My work history is on LinkedIn, and my CV is available on request.
